Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine

The clinical education during years 3 and 4 transitions students from classroom-based learning to practical, hands-on patient care, underpinning the application of earlier acquired theoretical knowledge.  This phase is supported by regional academic centers that facilitate diverse clinical experiences​.

Admissions

To apply to Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine, start by submitting your application through the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Application Service (AACOMAS).

If you meet the initial screening criteria, you’ll be invited to complete a Supplemental Application where you can choose between the New Mexico or Florida campus. The college seeks well-rounded applicants who align with its mission, assessing both academic and non-academic traits. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required, along with an MCAT score. There’s a recommended cumulative science GPA of 3.0 and an MCAT score of 496 or higher​.
